These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HomeGoal. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
HomeGoal provides tools and AI-assisted coaching content to help users explore home-saving goals. Features may change over time.
2. Not financial advice
HomeGoal is an educational and informational product. Content in the app, including AI-generated assessments, is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. We do not guarantee that following any suggestion will lead to home ownership or any particular financial outcome. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions
Access to HomeGoal requires a paid subscription. You choose a plan at signup or in Billing and are charged when checkout completes. Subscriptions renew according to the plan you selected unless you cancel. Billing is handled by Stripe. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal where available.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the platform, abuse the AI features, or use HomeGoal for unlawful purposes.
6. Intellectual property
HomeGoal and its software, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your personal purposes.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent allowed, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on app content or AI outputs.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
